When Words Are Hard to Find, Let Scripture Help Say It
Welcome to Faith, Hope & Everyday Grace. I'm Abi, founder of Say It With Scripture, and I'm so glad you're here.
For years, my heart has been drawn to meeting people where they are. Through Clothed by Faith, I saw how a thoughtfully prepared gift could offer dignity, kindness and the simple reassurance that somebody cared.
Then our family experienced a season that changed the way I thought about giving. When my husband Julius was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, we discovered just how much a prayer, a message, or a small act of thoughtfulness could mean. On frightening days, being reminded that we weren't alone mattered deeply.
I began imagining gifts that could say something when finding the right words seemed impossible. A warm blanket with Scripture attached. A candle for a quiet evening. A small wooden cross to hold in prayer. Even everyday bath and body products that invite a moment of care.
Flowers are lovely, but sometimes we long to send something a person can hold onto, return to, and remember. That is the heart of Say It With Scripture: gifts rooted in God's Word, beautifully presented and meant to encourage long after they're opened.
